The film boasts an amazing cast who help convey this story, told with humor and empathy, as a realistic representation of the human beings ravaged by what is arguably the most devastating drug plaguing the country.

The film is in need of two types of songs:

  • A song that sounds like "Raise Your Glass" by Pink. This song must have a female vocalist and be a club and party song.
  • A song that sounds like "Ooh La La" by Goldfrapp. This song must also have a female vocalist, with a groovy electronic vibe.
  • The producers are looking for songs that sound just like both example songs.

The film producers are looking for song submissions from to be included in the film, and there is 1 slot reserved for Sonicbids artists. Song submissions must be able to be licensed. Selected artists will receive great exposure and as well, income from royalties and the soundtrack.

About the film:

"Meth Head” is the story of Kyle Peoples, who, after a seemingly harmless night of partying, is lead into an addiction that costs him everything – his job, his lover, his family, his home, his dignity and self-esteem. As any true user does, Kyle embraces denial, diving headlong into his addiction. Surrounded by new friends, MAIA and DUSTY, life seems like one long party. Maia, Dusty and Kyle band together, creating a new family for each other. Only the party is an illusion and the crystal is slowly killing them, physically and psychologically. It is only when he hits absolute bottom that Kyle acknowledges how far he has fallen from the student body present he once was. In that moment, he must choose the path that will decide his future – life or death.

The film stars Lukas Haas, Wilson Cruz, Necar Zadegan, Tom Sizemore, Scott Patterson (series regular on “Gilmore Girls”, currently on “The Event”), Lindsay Pulsipher (series reg “True Blood”), Theo Rossi (series reg: “Sons of Anarchy”), Candis Cayne (“Dirty Sexy Money”) and a really dark, wild, uncredited cameo by David Arquette. Curt Smith (“Tears for Fears”) is doing the score of the film.

The film producers believe that along with telling a great story and engaging the audience with the ride, the film can make a difference in the prevention of the use of Methamphetamine. 80% of all people who try this drug will eventually become addicted. 80% and there is a 6% recovery rate. Prevention is the key.
