Summary

Methow Arts Alliance is a non profit organization that serves rural communities in Okanogan County in north central Washington State. Performers are booked for several different venues in the area, from a 110 seat theatre to a 500 seat auditorium, as well as an outdoor park with a band shell or portable stage with much greater capacity. In addition to presenting public performances throughout the year, Methow Arts Alliance books several performances a year in 6 regional school districts covering grades k-12.



The Methow Valley is a beautiful mountain community located 3.5 hrs from Spokane and 4 hrs from Seattle. The town of Winthrop is an Old West town with wooden boardwalks and false front buildings. Both the town of Twisp and Winthrop have lively arts scenes with galleries, a theatre, and many artist studios. The Methow Valley is a destination tourist area with a world renowned trail system that provides bountiful skiing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding opportunities.



In addition to a very receptive audience usually ranging from 300-1,000 people, artists will be compensated for their performance and are often provided with four star accommodations.



Past performers include: Obo Addy, George Winston, Swil Kanim and Gene Tagaban, R. Carlos Nakai, The Harlem Gospel Choir, the Puentes Brothers, Faustworks, The Be Good Tanyas, Lelavision, the Mud Bay Jugglers and many more.
