The M-Factor will reserve a minimum of six slots per month for Sonicbids members. Hosted by the Old Nick, the M-Factor provides an intimate experience for audiences to connect with the best singer/songwriters, performers and composers from all over the world. All genres are welcome as long as the material is at least 50% original. Heavier genre players will have to adapt to the size and volume capacity of the venue.

The Old Nick is a solid supporter of live music, hosting an open mic night on Tuesdays and featured performances on Saturdays and Sundays. Past performers include: Ray Boulay, Carole Pope, Lorraine Segato, The Cliks, Elana Harte, Leslie and the Lys, James Carroll, The Magpies, Carrie Chesnutt, Joe Hash, Wade Benson, Sans Cherubs, and Alain Gratton and many more.

The Old Nick is situated at 123 Danforth Ave, Toronto. A total description of the event, tech specs, the resources provided by the promoter and the responsibilities of the performers will be forwarded to those selected. This series begins December 2010. The M-Factor is sponsored by Steve's Music Store.
