Summary

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to play at the second annual poker run to benefit the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, CT. At least two slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists. Each band member will be given an event T-Shirt and will have plenty of food and drink supplied in the hospitality area. Band names will be included on t-shirts and other promotional materials./n/nSunday August 8th 2010 will mark the date for the second annual poker run to benefit the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, CT. At least two slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists. Selected bands will be given a one hour slot to perform.


This is a charity event so there is no monetary compensation offered however, each band member will be given an event T-Shirt and will have plenty of food and drink supplied in the hospitality area. All bands and event sponsors will have their names on the back of the event shirts. Event flyers listing all bands will alo be sent to each band for promotions. This event will grow every year and will be a great opportunity for some bands to get out and perform in front of a larger audience.


The first year saw more than 40 bikes take to the streets for an 80 mile cruise through scenic central and Southern CT and end up back at the Humane Society grounds for a full day of music, prizes, raffles and food. The music will start at 12:00 noon as bikes start to return and run into the evening.

Terms And Conditions

Rules & Regulations

1. This a a family friendly event so we ask that no profanity be used on stage in either lyrics or conversation with the audience.

2. All bands should plan to arive at least 3 hours prior to their set times to help avoid any unforseen problems.

3. PA will be provided. If you have any special reguirements for your stage set up you should bring it with you and discuss it with the sound engineer the day of show. Any advanced warning on this would be appreciated. Please allow plenty of time for special requests and show up early.

4. Bands will be expectedto post event information, links, flyers etc. on their websites, mayspace, facebook pages etc. You get the picture.
