Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the Miami Music Festival (MMF) an emerging artists conference returns this November 12-14, 2010 with a new and improved schedule, new venues and more emerging artists than ever. They are now seeking emerging artists looking to present their music as part of this year's festival, and 60 Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be selected. Last year, attendance to the festival topped 18,000 people./n/nThe Miami Music Festival (MMF) and emerging artists conference returns this November 12 - 14, 2010 with a new and improved schedule, new venues and more emerging artists than ever. 250 artists from around the world will be showcased on 25 stages, for both music industry professionals and a local community of music fans.

The festival is seeking emerging artists, and 60 Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be selected. Last year, attendance to the festival topped 18,000 people. Bands will not be compensated for their participation. Travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of the artists.

This year, MMF continues to expand with the addition of headline acts, shows in major theaters, daytime outdoor performances, and the use of more clubs throughout the city. Working with Miami Live, a new initiative highlighting Miami's rich heritage and growth as a live music destination, the Miami Music Festival is taking the next step in support of live music.

Terms And Conditions

1. These rules supplement, incorporate by reference, and are to be read with (and not to limit), the MMF Talent Application.

2. You must provide true, accurate, current and complete contact information, as well as a description of your musical group and music genre.

3. You may be disqualified for false registration, making false claims, misrepresentation or any other behavior, action or activity that MMF, in its sole discretion, deems to be unacceptable.

4. All music, audio and video files submitted must be yours. You may be disqualified for submitting any material for which you did not perform.

5. There will be no cash or other prizes for any performances at MMF.

6. Entry files must be uploaded as an MP3 or video files. MMF is not responsible for any corrupt files you may submit. Any and all corrupt files will be deleted without notification to you.

7. All submissions to the MMF must be fully submitted on or before July 31, 2010.

8. The application closing date and announcement dates for MMF may change without notice to you. Such changes will, however, be posted on

9. Absolutely no application fee refunds will be made for any reason, however, any band that applies, regardless of outcome, is entitled to purchase MMF conference badges at the artists rate of $49.00, instead of the standard $99 rate.

10. Accepted applications will be notified or before August 31, 2010. Accepted performers must confirm attendance at the MMF within ten (10) days of the date on which you receive selection notification. Failure to sign and return the confirmation within ten (10) days, or the submission of any false or inaccurate information, will result in immediate disqualification and alternate performers will be selected.

11. MMF may change these rules at any time, in MMF's sole discretion, without notice to you.

12. Filing an application with the MMF does not grant you any right or license to use any MMF material (i.e. logos, images, text, etc.), trademarks or other intellectual property of MMF for any purpose.

13. The selection of performers by MMF is final.

14. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of all accepted performers to: (i) pay for their own travel, lodging and all other expenses associated with their performance and attendance at MMF; (ii) all accepted performers will perform one forty five (45) minute set and at the conclusion of same the performer must vacate and clear the stage within five (5) minutes in order to allow the next performance to take place.

15. The selection of all performers by the MMF is non-transferable and the selected performer may not substitute any other performer to participate in its place.

16. You acknowledge, as a condition of your application, that MMF has the right to publicize and broadcast any selected performer's name, likeness, voice and all other matters incidental thereto. MMF will not release for sale any audio or visual recording of your performance, however, an audio or visual clip may be utilized for MMF's marketing, promotional or business purposes.
