Summary

The 2009 Miami Tattoo Expo will be head at the Miami Beach Convention Center on January 9-11, 2009. They are currently accepting submissions from bands to fill their music lineup of both headliners and support slots. There are 2 slots reserved for Sonicbids members. Accepted genres include hard rock, metal, hardcore, rock, pop, alternative, top 40, hip hop, latin and rockabilly.



There will be a total of approximately 16 bands performing at the event. Headliners will play 45-minute slots and supporting acts will have 30-minute slots. Submitting bands must indicate the scope of their draw in the South Florida area. Sound, lights and professional technicians will be provided along with the the following:



  • Standard hospitality (meal, water, towels).
  • One 3-day event pass per member of the band.
  • Opportunity to sell your merchandise during/after performance (you sell, you keep all proceeds)
  • Please note: Performance is unpaid



    The 2009 Miami Tattoo Expo (formerly the Gold Coast Tattoo Expo) is anticipated to be the largest event of itÂ’s kind on the east coast. Drawing off the success oif the previous events held in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale in 2004 and 2007, the event has moved into a bigger space in the heart of South Beach. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your band in front of a large, music-loving crowd.
