TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to submit to A Benefit for Japan, which will be held at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA, on May 1, 2011. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross and its initiatives in helping Japan recover from the devastating earth quakes that hit the country earlier this month. There are 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists who would like to perform for this charity event./n/nA Benefit for Japan will be held at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA, on May 1, 2011. Here’s what selected artists get:



  • A chance to help raise money for the crisis in Japan.

  • A sound system and backline will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.



About the venue:


The Middle East is a staple in the Boston/Cambridge area for unforgettable live music. It has hosted nationally known acts, and as well, it is a huge supporter of local musicians. It is lending its space in order to raise money for the Red Cross' aid in Japan.
