Midem is the leading international business event for the music ecosystem, where music makers, cutting-edge technologies and brands & talents come together every year. Midem provides a forum for music business, political and legal discussions. The event provides an environment for many global distribution and other music deals to be formalized. It also is a platform for showcasing new artists, musical trends and music-related products. Midem welcomes 6,400 delegates from 3,000 companies from over 75 countries. MidemÂ’s 2014 edition will take place in CannesÂ’ Palais des Festivals (France) from February, 1st to 4th, 2014.


Midem 2014 will be offering a unique, interactive opportunity for event delegates – be they labels, publishers or artists - to present their music directly to a group of up to 5 top level A&R executives from labels and publishers during a pitch session curated and presented by the globally renowned artist discovery and development company, A&R Worldwide.

Known as the "United Nations of Music", MUSEXPO will take place in Hollywood, CA from April 6th - 9th, 2014. A variety of industry professionals including label presidents, A&R and publishing executives, radio programmers, film/TV/interactive music supervisors, talent bookers/promoters, and press and new media executives from around the world will converge on the Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood and SIR Studios in Hollywood, CA, to learn about and discuss new trends and topics in the music industry, and to discover the hottest emerging artists.

Selected presenters must register as a delegate to attend Midem 2014 in order to participate at the pitch session. The participant chosen from the Midem 2014 pitch session will have the opportunity to present at MUSEXPO LA 2014 and must be registered as a delegate to attend MUSEXPO 2014.


NOTE:

Participants must also cover their own costs for travel, accommodation, transfers, meals, etc. for both events. Midem 2014 and MUSEXPO LA 2014 will not be responsible for any of these costs. Winners will be notified of exact date, time and location just prior to the start of Midem 2014.
