Summary
Since it's debut in 1997 as a winter event, the Millennium Music Conference has grown into one of the premier music conferences and showcases on the East Coast. The conference will be held June 24-26, 2004 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Harrisburg, PA. The eighth annual conclave celebrates new music and emerging talent with 3 nights of showcases by original acts and artists. The event will also feature three days of panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring & demo listening sessions and music business trade show. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with the registrants.
In 2003 MMC7 hosted over 300 acts and artists on 28 stages at Harrisburg area live music venues. In 2004, with the event staged in late June, showcases will not be limited to traditional venues. MMC8 will create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Showcasing your act and networking with other showcasing acts and industry professionals in the unique conference environment is integral.
