Summary

The University of Minnesota, Morris is a small residential liberal arts institution with an enrollment of 1,700 students. Located in Morris, Minnesota, a rural community about three hours from Minneapolis, UMM is a highly rigorous undergraduate school.

The Campus Activities Council (CAC) is the primary programming entity for UMM and its Concerts Committee holds between four and ten concerts per academic year (September - April). Most concerts are held on campus at one of the three venues within the Student Center, and range in size from 50 to 500 seats. CAC books for their ballroom space (capacity 300), auditorium (capacity 500), and club (capacity 50).

Submitting artists will be considered for all possible venues and CAC will ultimately determine which venue is most appropriate. UMM is interested in local, regional, or national artists already touring through the area. They regularly look at possible shows throughout the year but prefer to book at least four months in advance. Compensation generally ranges from $500 to $1,200 and travel and lodging are negotiable.
