Summary
Music Independence Summit Connection (MISC) is a career development resource for the independent music community. MISC has created informational spots called "Indie Music Moment" and "Indie Insider" that are both 30 to 60 seconds long and are placed in a television show titled "A Funk Above The Rest Present: The Independent Artists Showcase." The show shoots two episodes a month and airs once a week on Wednesday nights between 8 and 10pm on CoLours TV on Dish Network.
MISC is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for the bed music of these spots. All genres are accepted and instrumental music is preferred. If the song does contain vocals, there must be an instrumental section of at least 30 to 45 seconds. Artists may submit up to 3 songs for consideration. Selected and approved artists will be offered a non-exclusive licensing agreement and monetary compensation. No royalties will be paid for run or rerun episodes. Because of the educational value of the MISC spots, they will be archived for up to 1 year on the MISC and partnering websites.
Please note: If you are submitting material for consideration, you must own all rights to the music. All content must be original and contain no samples.
