MISC LiVe! Indie Music Special on CoLours TV

Music Independence Summit Connection (MISC), a career development resource for the independent music community, will be producing three 2-hour indie music specials to be shot in NYC. The music specials, called "MISC LiVe!," will feature live performances and interviews of indie artists as well as inserts from MISC mobile seminars and partnering programs, and industry professional video podcast interviews. The first special will air in September 2008. The music special is rated G so no profanity or nudity will be allowed.



The taping of the special will be an event in itself. MISC will produce a MISC Mobile seminar at a predetermined location the week of the live performances. This will include an industry round table discussion with special guests. The live performance will be held at Crash Mansion in NYC where 7 to 10 bands will play 15 minute sets each and have the option to sell their merchandise. The MISC LiVe! taping will be open to the public.



This opportunity is only open to Supersonic members with videos posted on their EPK in all genres. Artists must be US residents to apply. Travel and expenses will be the sole responsibility of the artist. The date and time of the live performances is TBA.



This show will air on CoLours TV to over 16 million homes with over 40+ million potential viewers on Dish Network 9407. They target a multicultural urban audience. In addition to cable television broadcasting, each episode will be available online in its entirety on the CoLours TV website, the MISC website, the A Funk Above the Rest website, and partnering websites.
