Summary
Shackled Down Productions, LLC, an artist development and productions label located in Columbus OH, is currently seeking the 'best of the best' for inclusion on a compilation CD release of original music. Our goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging artists. This CD Compilation will be shopped to radio stations as well as magazines and other promotional opportunities as they come down the pipeline. 500-1,000 CDs will be manufactured and distributed throughout the United States (primarily in the Midwest) in select cities and will be used 100% for artist exposure. Artists will not be monetarily compensated. Selected artists will receive 10 copies of the CD for their own use.
This is our 6th CD project and 2nd Mixtape compilation. Each successive disc has received wider distribution and recognition than our previous efforts!
All genres are currently being accepted for this CD compilation but the genres I am most interested in for this collection include (but are not limited to) the following: Rap, R&B, Pop, Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Indie, Dance, House, and Top 40. I am not seeking Classical or Metal.
All submissions received will be reviewed, even if not selected for the compilation and there are 2-5 slots on the disc reserved for Sonicbids artists!
