Since its debut in 1997, the Millennium Music Conference has grown into one of the premier music conferences and showcases on the East Coast. In 2007 the conference will be held FEBRUARY 15-18 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center and over 25 showcase venues in and around the City of Harrisburg, PA

The eleventh annual showcase and symposium celebrates new music and emerging talent with four nights of showcases by original acts and artists. In 2006 MMC10 hosted over 250 acts and artists on 25 stages at Harrisburg area live music venues. Over 150 Sonicbids artists were selected to showcase; 22 of 38 songs on the MMC10 Compilation CD were from Sonicbids submissions. Over 90% of the selected acts are unsigned and independent artists - and most all genres are given the opportunity to showcase. In February 2007 showcases are not limited to traditional venues. Several venues, including the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center stages, will be all ages. An acoustic stage will be featured at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center during the daytime business sessions and trade show. Submissions are being taken exclusively through Sonicbids this year.

The event will feature three days of panels, clinics, workshops, keynotes, mentoring & demo listening sessions and a music business trade show on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with attendees. All showcasing musicians will receive credentials for the events at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center on the day of their showcase. Members of showcasing acts and acts that have submitted qualify to register for $55.00 until February 2, 2007 to attend all 3 Days & 4 Nights of conference events.

MMC11 will create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent to be seen and heard. Showcasing your act and networking with other showcasing acts, musicians and music industry professionals in the unique conference environment could be integral to your career advancement. You could also learn to party like a rock star! Showcase Notifications begin on December 8th and continue until complete. Early selections will be made by the showcase staff in mid-October and November 2006.

Harrisburg, the State Capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is just hours from New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington.
