Summary

Since its debut in 1997, the Millennium Music Conference has grown into one of the premier music conferences and showcases on the East Coast. This yearÂ’s Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 14-17, 2008 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center and 30 venues in and around Harrisburg, PA.



The 12th annual event will feature 3 days of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring & demo listening sessions and trade show. The event celebrates new music and emerging talent with 4 nights of showcases by selected original acts and artists. Since its debut in 1997, the conference has become one of the premier music business events for independent artists on the East Coast. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with the registrants.



MMC Showcases create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Showcasing your act at the 2008 event and networking with fans, musicians and music industry professionals in the unique conference environment could be integral to your career. In February 2008 MMC12 will host over 300 showcase performances at 30 live music venues in and around Harrisburg, PA - 200 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.



The showcase submission deadline is November 16, 2007. Early selections are made in October and November 20 and all final notifications begin on December 3, 2007 and continue until complete.



Acts and artists traveling to MMC12 are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The Radison Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center has special conference rates and amenities for musicians, students and music industry professionals.



Harrisburg, the State Capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is just hours from New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington. Harrisburg is accessible by major highways and interstates, Amtrak trains and the host hotel and showcase venues are just minutes from Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown. The region is the former home of Danny Hartman, Poison, Live, Jeffrey Gaines and Fuel.
