Summary

Known as one of the premier music events on the East Coast, the Millennium Music Conference celebrates new music with four nights of showcases featuring over 300 original acts. There are 200 showcase slots guaranteed for Sonicbids members. Selected artists will be exposed to panels, clinics, one-on-one mentoring and much more. Additionally, all submitted artists will have their registration fees waived if they wish to attend (normally $55).

Hundreds of unsigned, independent acts and artists will be selected for the night time showcases in 2011. Artist performances are generally 40 minute sets of original music on a bill with acts of a similar genre./n/nTo accommodate those who began submissions prior to the deadline, submissions will remain open until December 20th.


Just Announced: Halestorm have been confirmed as keynote speakers at MMC15, appearing on both Friday Feb. 18th and Saturday Feb. 19th, and one Sonicbids artist will be selected to open up for them. Halestorm, who are currently signed to Atlantic Records, participated in the first few MMC's as an up-and-coming band.

Expecting to be the largest Millennium event ever, MMC15 will be held at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center as well as 30 live music venues in and around Harrisburg. For information on MMC's schedule of events, including panel details, click here.


SUBMIT TO SHOWCASE: 200 showcase slots are reserved for Sonicbids members and 20 are guaranteed to Sonicbids artists who submit before July 1, 2010. MMC showcases create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Performing at this annual event and networking with other musicians, music industry professionals and music fans in this unique conference environment can be integral to careers.

Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with musicians, registrants and attendees. The community is invited to join in the celebration of emerging talent, independent artists and new music. All showcase performances are open to the public and most are free.
