Summary
Since it's debut in 1997 as a winter event, the Millennium Music Conference has grown into one of the premier music conferences and showcases on the East Coast. The conference will be held June 23-25, 2005 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Harrisburg, PA. The ninth annual conclave celebrates new music and emerging talent with 3 nights of showcases by original acts and artists. The event will also feature three days of panels, clinics, workshops, keynotes, mentoring/demo listening sessions and a music business trade show. In addition, MMC9 will host the Citadel Rock Summit featuring Rock Radio Program Directors from across the country. The MMC8 Compilation CD featured new music from 40 artists. Music industry professionals will attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with our registrants.
In 2004 MMC8 hosted over 300 acts and artists on 25 stages at Harrisburg area live music venues. In 2005 showcases will not be limited to traditional venues. MMC9 will create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Showcasing your act and networking with other showcasing acts and industry professionals in the unique conference environment is integral to your career advancement.
