Summary

MNB Week 2006 is shaping up to be one of the biggest music industry events in New Brunswick, Canada. Taking place May 18th to May 21st, 2006 in Edmundston, NB, MNB Week 2006 has been constructed to help new and experienced artists develop both their business and artistic career skills. This opportunity is open only to artists born in NB or currently a resident of NB.



The event will be one of the best platforms in New Brunswick for discovering new talent and supporting our international artists. There will be between 24-48 artists performing throughout the event. All of the showcase spots for this year’s event will take place under one roof at the brand new Chateau Edmundston Hotel and Convention Center. Artists from all genres - Alternative/Metal, World, Classical, Country, Jazz/Blues/Folk/Rock, Urban/Hip-Hop, and Roots/Traditional and others - are given the opportunity to be seen and heard by some of today’s most influential international music industry professionals.



MNB Week 2006 will be filled with professional development programming that will include panels headed by industry experts designed to keep music professionals current on important topics, demo critique sessions and one-on-one meetings with national and international delegates, and development series seminars on topics critical to all levels of music industry professionals. MNB Week 2006 is also a unique opportunity to showcase and meet major national and international music industry professionals face-to-face. In addition, MNB Week 2006 will include an opening Gala Ceremony, trade show exhibits, an industry brunch, a songwriter’s circle, a silent auction, workshops and seminars, an abundance of exclusive networking opportunities with music industry professionals from Canada, the United States and Europe and music, music, music!
