Montauk Music Festival 2010 (extended)

The Montauk Music Festival and will feature over 75 bands and singer/song writers to perform over 100 shows. These shows will take place at about 25 different Montauk restaurants and venues, as well as free open air concerts at the Gazebo on the Green. It will feature original music of all types, including classic rock, rock, pop, Americana, alternative, reggae, blues, jazz, Flamenco, rap/hip hop, metal and country./n/nThe Montauk Music Festival and will feature over 75 bands and singer/song writers to perform over 100 shows. There are 2 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Artists will receive 2 rooms for each band from out side of Suffolk county, that will do three performances through the weekend. Dinner at each venue the band plays will also be provided.

The Montauk Music Festival is volunteer-run, grassroots live music event designed to celebrate, support, and promote the thriving Montauk music scene while showcasing and stimulating the burgeoning artistic, commercial and pedestrian activity in Montauk. The festival would not be possible without the generous support by businesses and individuals who, like the festival organizers, are dedicated to nurturing this vital component of the area's culture. Past performers include Gil Parris, The Curtis Winchester Band, Danielle De Luca, Lawrence Cooley, Livia Devereux, Lawrence Cooley Band, Mellish, Superhero, Days of wild, and more.
