Here is your opportunity to play at MOOGFEST 2007 along side the leading MOOG players including Thomas Dolby, Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Adam Holzman (Miles Davis), Spiraling, Don Preston (Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention), Gershon Kingsley, Herb Deutch and Erik Norlander among others!

Bob Moog invented and built electronic musical instruments for nearly half a century. Moog shaped musical culture with some of the most inspiring instruments ever created.

Moog's namesake analog synthesizer helped catapult the careers of such a diverse list of artists as rockers Edgar Winter, Todd Rundgren, Gary Numan and Devo, funksters Parliament-Funkadelic and Zapp, disco producer Giorgio Moroder with disco diva Donna Summer, fusioneers Chick Corea with Return To Forever, Herbie Hancock with The Headhunters, Jan Hammer with the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Klaus Doldinger with Passport and Joe Zawinul with Weather Report, New Age icon Tomita and classical performer Wendy Carlos.

To honor Moog and commemorate his groundbreaking achievements, several renowned keyboardists and longstanding Moog users will gather on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at B.B. King's Bar & Grill in Times Square (237 w. 42nd Street between 7th & 8th Avenues) to participate in a gala Moogfest - and here's your chance to perform!

Past performers include Edgar Winter, Living Colour, Keith Emerson (ELP), Rick Wakeman (Yes), Money Mark (Beastie Boys), Steve Molitz (Particle), Brazilian Girls, Gershon Kingsley, DJ Logic and musical director Jason Miles.
