Summary

Round 1 saw an impressive turn out, artists battled to a sold out crowd that included reps from Interscope and Shady records at NYC's legendary DON HILLS. Hosted by none other than Omar, Mouth-Off received write-ups in I.R.T Magazine as well as The Village Voice. The event was also covered by Cable Television show NOTT TV with audience markets in all 5 NYC boroughs as well as out of state fan base in Detroit and Atlanta. Regardless of the outcome, every MC was given a chance to promote themselves by giving cable network interviews detailing demos, web sites, and upcoming shows.

Back by popular demand and with the momentum of success from Round 1, Mouth-Off Round 2 was confirmed. With a mirror image promotional and marketing approach, Round 2 will be an MC's verbal world series. Once again hosted by Omar and to be held at DON HILLS.

Although held in a competitive atmosphere, Round 2 will also offer a showcasing feel. The night will open with a performance by New Jersey's own Budhite Knights, winners of "Best Hip Hop Group" at NYC's International Music Festival 2004, followed with a performance by reigning round 1 champion Jack Frost. As advertised, the event will wrap up by awarding a $500 cash prize to the winning MC.

Think you can handle pressure? Think you've got what it takes?
