Movie Song Vault purchases the publisher's share of the songs copyright. They also purchase master recordings directly from the artist. The artist retains their writers share of the song and continues to receive public performance income generated by any placements made by the Movie Song Vault team. If a song is placed in a movie, TV show, advertisement or on a soundtrack then the artist will get credit on the placement whenever possible.
