Mundial de Musica Series

2011 holds the very first annual Latin-alternative and Latin world music festival in Chicago, the Mundial de Musica Series. 15 shows will take place bi -weekly for the life of the series at various locations across the Chicago area. The festival is accepting Latin, alternative, hip hop, house, electonica, world, reggae, pop and rock artists to submit, and there are 2 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists to perform live at one of the series' shows. Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.

Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Artists can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits.


• A sound system will be provided at most venues, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.
