MUSEXPO 2011 Artist Showcases

MUSEXPO is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase in front of an exclusive group of high-level international music and media professionals. The showcases will be held at at SIR Studios of the legendary Sunset Blvd., a place legendary artists such as Jane’s Addiction, Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry call home. MUSEXPO is only accepting submissions though Sonicbids and will select approximately 24 artists to showcase.


Artists who have showcased at MUSEXPO since its inception that have gone on to secure recording, publishing, management and music placement contracts include: The Temper Trap, Soshy (Sony Music Int'l) and more./n/nMUSEXPO is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase in front of an exclusive group of high-level international music and media professionals. This will include label presidents, A&R and publishing executives, programmers from the world’s most influential and artist-friendly radio stations, film/TV and interactive music supervisors, talent bookers/promoters as well as press and new media executives.



MUSEXPO is only accepting submissions though Sonicbids and will select approximately 24 artists to showcase. Genres preferred include rock, alternative, pop, hip-hop and singer/songwriter. All requests go through a rigorous selection process.

Official MUSEXPO LA in Hollywood, California 2011 showcases will be held on May 1 - 4, 2011 at SIR Studios of the legendary Sunset Blvd. SIR Studios is a place legendary artists such as Jane’s Addiction, Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, KISS, Motley Crue, Green Day, No Doubt and Maroon 5 call home.
In addition, it is Los Angeles’ key showcase experience – where hundreds of legends have been born and signed to many labels and publishers.



There will be only alternating showcases with none overlapping the other to ensure maximum impact and visibility for every showcasing artist. The selection process will be undertaken by the globally respected artist discovery and development firm A&R Worldwide and MUSEXPO staff members. All accepted acts will be informed of their status by early-February 2011.



Artists who have showcased at MUSEXPO since its inception back in 2005 that have gone on to secure recording, publishing, management and music placement contracts include: The Temper Trap (Infectious Records), Soshy (Sony Music Int'l), Evermore (Sire Records/Warner Music), The Dares (Jive Records), Pilot Speed (Wind-Up), Goldenhorse (FKP Scorpio, Germany), Skybombers (Worldwide Management and Booking Agent), Bloodpit (SonyBMG, Germany), Shifter (Boo! Management -Hillary Duff) and The Infadels (Pontiac commercial in Canada), Andrew Paul Woodworth (Rodeostar, Germany), Dead Letter Circus (Warner Bros. Australia) to name a few. In addition, U.S. and international major label buzz artists such as Katy Perry, LMFAO, A Fine Frenzy, Laura Izibor , Ida Maria, Embrace, Teddybears, FrankMuzik, Erik Hassle, Capra, and others have showcased at MUSEXPO.

All selected showcase artists will need to have a management representative/s registered to attend MUSEXPO 2011 in order to be confirmed. Production and marketing costs are not included.
