After five years of a very successful conference based in Los Angeles, MUSEXPO has once again taken its conference global. The 2nd Annual MUSEXPO Europe will take place in the heart of London, England from June 29-July 1, 2009. MUSEXPO Europe is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase your band in front of an exclusive group of high-level international music and media professionals. This group will include label presidents, A&R and publishing executives, programmers from the world's most influential and artist-friendly radio stations, film/TV and interactive music supervisors, talent bookers/promoters as well as press and new media executives.

All requests go through a multiple filters to ensure the highest quality of talent receives the attention it deserves. There will be a large number of bands/artists submitting but only 20+ showcase opportunities are available. There will be only alternating showcases with none overlapping the other to ensure maximum impact and visibility for every showcasing artist at some of London's top showcase venues. The selection process will be undertaken by the globally respected artist discovery and development firm A&R Worldwide, MUSEXPO staff members, and a panel of music industry experts as well. All accepted acts will be informed of their status by the end of May 2009.

MUSEXPO has chosen to accept and review its online band applications using Sonicbids. Genres preferred include Rock, Alternative, Pop, Hip-Hop, Dance/Electronic and Singer-Songwriter.

Artists who have showcased at MUSEXPO since its inception back in 2005 that have gone on to secure recording, publishing, management and music placement contracts include: The Temper Trap (Infectious Records), Soshy (Sony Music Int'l), Evermore (Sire Records/Warner Music), The Dares (Jive Records), Pilot Speed (Wind-Up), Goldenhorse (FKP Scorpio, Germany), Skybombers (Worldwide Management and Booking Agent), Bloodpit (SonyBMG, Germany), Shifter (Boo! Management -Hillary Duff) and The Infadels (Pontiac commercial in Canada), Andrew Paul Woodworth (Rodeostar, Germany) to name a few. In addition, US and international major label buzz artists such as A Fine Frenzy, Laura Izibor, Ida Maria, Embrace, Teddybears and others have showcased at MUSEXPO.
