Summary
Music Emissions is currently seeking the songs of 10-16 Sonicbids artists to enter into their quarterly contest, Unsigned & Wound Up. This is a great opportunity for exposure with the chance to win an album review or artist spotlight on Music Emissions.
The Opportunity
Unsigned and Wound Up is a quarterly contest highlighting top emerging artists. Selected bands will compete for votes on Music Emissions and the top vote-getters will receive written features provided by the editorial staff at Music Emissions.
Started in 1999, Music Emissions has been promoting independent or DIY music podcasting since February of 2008. Over the years the site has grown to include reviewers and critics from all over the world. It has also now houses a music community of over 5000 users who are avid indie music fans. In May of 2011, they launched their monthly contest known as Unsigned and Wound Up.

Band of Skulls, Crystal Yates, Yankee Brutal, Livi Vices I Admire,The Quartet of Woah!, Voice of Addiction, Robinson Treacher, That Noise, Phil Edwards Band, Ashley McBryde
The Band
- No spoken word or christian music
- Bands should be willing to promote the contest to their fans
The Gig
Details:
- Artists must be able to provide mp3 of selected song
- Songs will be featured on the Music Emissions site under Unsigned and Wound Up
- Votes must be cast on the Music Emissions site
- Voting starts on April 25th and ends on May 25th
- Top vote-getter will receive a feature/interview on Music Emissions
- The top three vote-getters will also have their most recent release reviewed by editorial staff
