Music For Troops -YouSendIt compilation CD

Music For Troops (MFT) is pleased to announce the creation of the YouSendit Compilation CD for our Troops.



Music For Troops sends the gift of music to our troops. The goal is to showcase and feature artists in all genres from across the USA on the Music For Troops website as well as the YouSendIt compilation CD, which will be sent to our troops on the Fourth of July, 2008. 500 copies of the CD will be sent to troops around the world using YouSendIt, ideal for our troops since they often use internet cafes to receive their music and put it on their mp3 players.



There are 10 slots reserved exclusively for Sonicbids artists. The Music For Troops and YouSendIt representatives will select the songs for the compilation based on originality and quality.



In addition to the compilation CD, all songs submitted will be uploaded on Music For Troops (MFT) website and the selected artists will be featured there with a title, artist photo and website link. All artists who have their songs uploaded to the MFT web site receive a tax deduction each time their song is downloaded by registered troops.



It is also important to note that Music For Troops believes in and supports freedom of speech, but as a non-profit charity, cannot accept partisan or political songs in any direction. Any submissions of this nature will not be accepted and will not receive a refund of submission fees.



Music For Troops is a 501(c)(3) charity that sends the gift of music to Troops at home and those that are away from home. All donations, proceeds, etc made to MFT are used exclusively to send the gift of music to our Troops.
