2007 MusicNoize Urban Music Conference

"Urban" is a diverse musical format rooted in the rich traditions of African musical forms. Urban music encompasses African-influenced genres including Soul, R&B, Hip- Hop, Dance, Reggae, Continental African, Latin, Soca, Jazz, Blues and Gospel." (*Urban Music Association of Canada - UMAC)

On July 20-21, 2007, music industry experts will discuss some of the most important issues concerning the urban music industry at the second annual Musicnoize Urban Music Conference being held in Downtown Indianapolis. Musicnoize wants to help make a positive change in the way educational resources in music are accessed by the artist ready to go to the next level, the seasoned music veteran wanting to update themselves on current musical trends or even to the music lover just wanting to know more.

This year, showcase submissions are being accepted exclusively through Sonicbids. Some of the brightest and best artists worldwide will be gracing the stage, including spoken word poets.

All artists who submit will be given 2 complimentary registrations to the Musicnoize Urban Music Conference. All artists selected to perform will received complimentary registration to the 2007 Urban Music Conference for each band member.
