Summary

World Bar restaurant, located on the Southbank promenade in Melbourne, Australia, is proud to present their inaugural “Music of the World” competition. 13 finalists will be chosen from Sonicbids submissions to battle it out for the chance to win $5000 AUD. The selected 13 finalists will each play two sets on a chosen Friday evening throughout June, July and August, where they will be judged by industry professionals from AIR, record companies, street press and so on.



Of the 13 finalists, 3 will be chosen as Grand Finalists to battle it out on September 5th for the grand prize. All finalists receive weekly prizes. Submissions are accepted exclusively through Sonicbids.


All genres are accepted, but original music is a must. Genres that World Bar has featured include: funk, soul, pop, house, reggae, roots, afro beat, and Latin beat. Please, local bands only.
