Summary
The Musicoz Awards are billed as Australia's premier music awards for unsigned artists. We are proud to be supported by the Australian Music industry and have been responsible for artists signing major recording deals in the U.S (Porcelain/Universal) as well as artists touring internationally.
The Musicoz Awards have been nicknamed the "Unsigned ARIAs". We present 27 National Music awards for unsigned and independent artists that are drawn from entries in 18 categories of music.
If you are an independent, unsigned artist or band and you have or can get a recording together, you are eligible to enter The Annual Musicoz Awards. All you need is a few songs and a completed EPK and you're on the way to entering Australia's premier music awards.
If selected, you are in the running for great industry opportunities and other development packages including: 4 days recording time at Studios 301 (renowned as the biggest and best recording studio in Australia); mastering of above recordings by Turtlerock Mastering Studios headed by Rick
O'Neil, one of the best mastering engineers in the business; broadcast quality music video from Hilton Media; professional photo shoot from Access All Areas Photography; a quarter page ad in Artists section of "The Bible",
The Australasian Music Industry Directory by IMMEDIA; R09 2-track portable digital recorder valued at $795; Maton - EM225C acoustic guitar valued at $1399; RODE NT2A studio microphone valued at $895; Management Mentorship
from Coady Management Group; MGM Pressing and Distribution Deal with MGM Distribution; A performance slot at the 2006 Musicoz Awards held at WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong, broadcast nationally on Channel [V] and SBS.
If your song wins an award, it will be included on the Musicoz Winners Compilation CD professionally mastered by Paul Bryant and distributed to all radio in Australia as well as key music industry persons both here and internationally. It will also be released and distributed through MGM.

This is a category officially for school students.(at least one member of entrant needs to be attending school). Any style of music accepted.
The K&R Best Instrumental Artist Award -
Any genre of music will be accepted for this category. Sound scapes, noise artists, intrumentalists, solo artists, international music, ambient, film scores, digital artists, relaxation and therapy music, production music.
Please note: Each artist may submit up to 3 times. If an artist submits 3 times, the fourth submission will be FREE. The Musicoz Awards are open to all professional and amateur bands, singer/songwriters and musicians who are Australian citizens or currently residing in Australia.
