Summary

MusicPlayers.com is the premiere online magazine for serious musicians, and they're seeking recently released CDs for review on our website. All of their feature stories/interviews, tutorials, in-depth reviews of pro gear, and music reviews are targeted at pro musicians at the indie band level and up. More than 130,000 people from around the world read their content each month.

MusicPlayers.com's CD reviews focus exclusively on artists they feel would be of interest to other serious musicians. Reviews of indie artists appear side-by-side with releases from established pros — they don't care what label you're on (or not). The primary requirement for a CD review is that you have a commercially-available audio CD (available through CDBaby.com, amazon.com, iTunes, etc.). EPs or demos will not be considered from new/indie artists.

Because of their discerning audience, MusicPlayers.com expects CDs from artists who are accomplished musicians with recordings that demonstrate professional quality production values and exceptional musical performances. Before submitting, consider whether or not a "serious musician" audience would enjoy listening to your CD. They're listening to artists playing music with strong vocals, intricate musical arrangements, tight performances, great tone and chops, solid songwriting, etc. MusicPlayers.com is interested in artists in styles such as progressive rock, hard rock/metal, alternative/modern rock, melodic/AOR/AAA, with only occasional jazz/fusion and alt/country bands, but their main interest is rock/prog. We are not interested in singer/songwriter with simple guitar/piano backing.

All bands/artists must have a CD commercially released in 2012 for consideration. Please take a look at http://www.musicplayers.com and read some of their CD reviews before submitting.
