MusicPros Hollywood: Seeking New Talent For Development

Music Pro's Hollywood (MPH) is looking for Sonicbids artists, songwriters, musicians and arrangers who are looking to develop under the tutelage of multi-platinum producer David Kershenbaum and be featured on his upcoming recording projects.

Responsible for signing and developing artists such as Janet Jackson and Bryan Adams, Kershenbaum has produced a number of legendary albums including Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust and Duran Duran's Rio. Responsible for signing and developing artists such as Janet Jackson and Bryan Adams, Kershenbaum has produced a number of legendary albums including Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust and Duran Duran's Rio. Collectively, his work has sold close to 200 million units worldwide. David will be looking to use songs, musicians and arrangers on his upcoming projects, and although not the purpose of this search, selected artists could be offered an artist deal as well.

Last year, Kershenbaum selected 5 Sonicbids artists for development deals, one of which was Australian artist Kotadama. Kotodama signed a development/record deal with David, and are currently poised to nationally release their first album through MPH/Interscope Universal Digital Distribution. Kershenbaum is credited as supervisor or producer to artists including Janet Jackson, Joe Jackson, Tori Amos, Duran Duran, Peter Frampton, Bryan Adams, The Police, Squeeze, Cat Stevens and Supertramp to name a few. In 2008, David received a "star" from the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards in honor of his Lifetime Achievement in Music Production.
