Music Row Bootcamp Scholarship (January)

Whether you're a newbie, a struggling artist, or an established performer, Music Row Bootcamp's arsenal of experts is ready to attack your problems and turn them into possibilities. From national media veterans, successful song pluggers, top notch engineers and performance coaches to fitness trainers, holistic health coaches and stylists-- there's a combat veteran who's ready to stand alongside you in battle.This is basic training, with a six-week obstacle course to get you ready for the front lines. This is basic training, with a six-week obstacle course to get you ready for the front lines. From beginning to end, you'll get an "American Idol" style critique from Music Row Bootcamp's arsenal of experts. They are looking for artists of the following genres only: Country, Americana, Folk, and Singer Songwriters and are reserving 2 scholarships per 6-week event for Sonicbids artists.

Limited to a dozen students per session, Music Row Boot Camp is built on one of a kind experiences to take you inside the inner workings of Nashville's Music Business, including:

• A session at Nashville's premiere studio with the producer & engineer of demos for BMG/Universal and Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
• An opportunity to learn the ins and outs of publishing, from a song plugger who's worked with Carrie Underwood, Dallas Davidson ("Honky Tonk Badonkadonk", "Country Girl" (Shake It for Me), "Just A Kiss"), Brett Jones ("Crazy Town", "What Do You Think About That", "A Little Past Little Rock"), and Collin Raye.
• Career guidance from the producer of "Crook & Chase", "Opry Live", "CMT Invitation Only", and "The GMA Dove Awards".
• An audition at one of Nashville's most prestigious singer-songwriter cafe/bar.
• A songwriting day with several of Nashville's top tunesmiths.

By the time your six week transformation is over, you'll be ready to report for duty-- with a group showcase and networking session to get your foot in the door to Music Row.

Please Note: Artists must be local to the area and be able to travel to the workshops every Saturday throughout the 6-week period.
