Summary

MyAWOL.com is a music industry resource that will make it easier and even more fun to discover the latest and greatest music from talented musicians of any style and genre. They make it easy for artists to manage their own career and gain exposure to help them make a living without a record label.

MyAWOL.com is currently seeking Sonicbids artists to perform at BritWeek 2008, a music showcase in Los Angeles. The annual event was established to celebrate fifty years of British links with Los Angeles’ entertainment industry. The music portion of Britweek will host 3 showcases, one at The Nokia Center in Los Angeles featuring Duran Duran, another at the Virgin Megastore featuring Kate Nash and the final one final showcase at Molly Malone’s in South Fairfax.

Two spots will be reserved exclusively for Sonicbids members at the final showcase, scheduled to take place on Friday May 9th. Although there is no direct compensation for performance, MyAWOL has agreed to provide all travel and lodging for performing artists. Artists from all across the US are encourage to submit for performance consideration. This is a great gig for any band/artist to gain some quality exposure at a popular event in the entertainment industry’s world capital.
