Mystika Music Production and Promotion (Spring 2009)

Mystika Music is an independently owned production and promotion company based in the Western Massachusetts 5 College area. As home to the Problemaddicts (sonicbids.com/problemaddicts), they have organized at least one monthly event for the last 3 years, as well as running a successful biweekly reggae night. They have organized and promoted shows for well respected artists such as Tash of The Alkaholiks, Planet Asia, Krumbsnatcha, Akrobatik, Brother Ali and many more, crossing between hip-hop, reggae, ska and punk.



They are now accepting acts for all upcoming events from 4/09 to 5/10 in Northampton and Amherst, MA. These range from opening for well known local acts at smaller venues to opening for national touring acts at larger concert halls. At least one act will be chosen per month; hip hop, Funk, reggae, and soul groups will have the upper hand, as well as DJ's for both between sets and headlining club nights. At least one slot will be reserved for Sonicbids artists.



Compensation will depend on both the show you are chosen for and local draw. At some venues food and drinks will be provided, and travel stipends can be provided for some groups.
