Summary

The North Atlantic Blues Festival is one of the more prestigious blues festivals on the East Coast. The 2008 event will run for two days - July 12 and 13, 2008 - at the picturesque Harbor Park in Rockland, Maine, which overlooks Rockland Harbor.

Some of the top names in blues music will be featured on the Main Stage including Walter Trout and Elvin Bishop. The festival typically draws 8,000 - 8,500 people per day.

On Saturday night, as a means of giving back to the community, festival attendees of legal age will receive a wristband that grants them admission to the 10th Annual NABF Club Crawl, which will feature many of the top regional blues performers. Although most artists chosen will be from Maine, NABF is open to listening to and selecting artists from outside the immediate area.

15 venues will host bands. The venues range in capacity from 70-325 people. In addition to the bands selected for venue slots, bands, 3 bands will be selected playing on Main Street for all ages.
