If the Nameless Coffeehouse's walls could talk, they'd certainly tell stories of when acts like Tracy Chapman, Patty Larkin, Andy Kaufman and Jay Lenograced their stage. The mission of the coffeehouse is and has always been to provide a stage for up-and-coming performers as well as established artists. This is the perfect opportunity for New England performers to shine, receiving great exposure in a welcoming, energetic environment./n/nThe Nameless Coffeehouse has helped launch the careers of Tracy Chapman, Patty Larkin, Andy Kaufman and Jay Leno, by providing them with a place to share their talents. The mission of the coffeehouse is and has always been to offer up-and-coming performers, as well as established artists, a place to perform and receive exposure.

Sonicbids artists from the following genres are encouraged to submit for a chance to play in one or more of their shows, scheduled for five dates from September through May 2011:


  • A Capella

  • Acoustic

  • Americana

  • Bluegrass

  • Blues

  • Country

  • Folk

  • Jazz

  • Non Music Performer

  • Singer/Songwriter

  • Spoken Word

These shows will take place at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, Harvard Square. This is the perfect opportunity for New England performers to shine, receiving great exposure in a welcoming, energetic environment.

Nameless is New England's oldest volunteer-only coffeehouse, appealing to all walks of life. Cozy and intimate, its atmosphere’s appeal transcends generations. Everyone who comes to their shows makes new friends. Nameless has been bringing great music to Harvard Square for over forty-three years. Other past acts include: The Story (Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball), Ellis Paul, Dar Williams, John Gorka, Bob Franke and Ric Ocasek.
