The deadline is approaching to submit to the Nannup Music Festival, held in the historic town of Nannup in Western Australia, which is currently looking for roots, folk, world, funk and country artists to perform. Previous performers include John Butler, Gurrumul, Michelle Shocked, Ben Lee, Ash Grunwald, Kate Millar Heidke, The Whitlams, Harry James Angus, Sara Storer. A minimum of two Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform.
The festival will feature over 200 local, regional and international artists in six different venues. Artists compensation will vary. International acts will need to provide visas, passports and work permits if selected. All artists will have to provide a stage plot.
Set in the heart of Jarrah Forest beside the Blackwood River, the Nannup Music Festival is an attraction for people of all ages. The festival features ecclectic music, workshops, poetry, dance, circus, street theater, a young talent quest, emerging artist awards, youth and childrens activities, stalls, and buskers.
