Summary

The National Women's Music Festival is the oldest running Women's Music Festival in North America. The festival is located on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal, IL and will be held July 6-9, 2006. Throughout the festival, 20-30 artists will play on 3-4 stages. There are 5 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Last year, 3,000 people attended the festival!



We are looking for women artists for all stages. Only women performers will have spots on the day and main stages. The SheRocks stage welcomes all band members\side musicians of a women-fronted band. All genres are accepted.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performance. The festival also provides lodging.



Past performers include Holly Near, Kris Williamson, Tret Fure, Ferron, Kate Clinton, Suzanne Westenhoefer and many others.
