Summary
The 9th annual Nederland Music & Arts Festival or Nedfest is a 3-day outdoor music and microbrew festival with camping. Nedfest is located on the shores of Barker Reservoir in the mountains of Nederland, Colorado. Nedfest will be held August 24 26. Last years festival had over 5,000 people attend, and this year should be even bigger.
6 bands headline each day on the main stage, with 30-minute acoustic artists between each band. Nedfest has reserved 3 slots for Sonicbids artists.
- Slot one is for a headline slot on the main stage for 75 minutes
- Slot 2 is a 30-minute set for an acoustic solo, duo or trio on the main stage.
- Slot 3 is for a headliner at the late night party Saturday night.
Selected artists for Nedfest will be compensated. This compensation is negotiated at the time of booking and selection.
Some of the former artists performing at Nedfest include Sam Bush, Dr. John, Keller Williams, Victor Wooten, Yonder Mountain String Band and many more.
Also, artists have the option to play Road to Nedfest as another option for selection. Artists do not have to attend this event in order to be selected for the festival. Road to Nedfest will be held on May 16, 2007 at the Fox Theater in Boulder, CO. 6 bands will play this event with one band taking the slot to play either the main stage or the late night party on Saturday.
