Summary

Set in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, the 8th Annual Nelsonville Music Festival is a three-day festival that celebrates music and local artistry of the region. A minimum of one Sonicbids artist will be invited to perform and all artists will be compensated for their performance. Previous performers include Willie Nelson, Swell Season, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Avett Brothers, Akron/Family, Loretta Lynn, and many more./n/nSet in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, the 8th Annual Nelsonville Music Festival is a three-day festival that celebrates music and local artistry of the region. Taking place May 18-20, 2012, the festival will feature about 40 artists and is expected to draw more than 5000 fans. A minimum of one Sonicbids artist will be invited to perform and all artists will be compensated for their performance. Acts will also be provided hospitality and may also sell their merchandise and retain 90% of the proceeds.

The festival has drawn coverage from major regional newspapers, as well as Pitchfork, Paste, Magnet, donewaiting.com, cringe.com.
