Neon Reverb Music Festival - Spring 2012

YACHT, VHS OR BETA, CRYSTAL ANTLERS, THE AGGROLITES and more have been confirmed to perform at the Spring 2012 festival.

The Neon Reverb Music Festival is a twice-yearly, 4-night music event featuring more than 100 bands at a variety of local Las Vegas music venues. Neon Reverb is looking for up-and-coming bands, as well as national acts, who want to increase their exposure in the active and growing music scene in Las Vegas, and who want to come have a great time playing a show here. The festival is a not-for-profit venture, organized by a community of independent local promoters, simply for the love of music. There are at least 5 slots reserved for Sonicbids bands.

Neon Reverb typically provides touring bands with hotel rooms and a modest guarantee, along with passes for the festival. Playing a show in the Neon Reverb Music Festival is a fantastic way to break into and get great exposure on the Las Vegas music scene. The festival is rapidly becoming Las Vegas's premiere music event, with fantastic turnout and great media coverage. Neon Reverb's growing regional and national profile also makes it a great way to network with bands from all over, but especially the west, southwest, and northwest. It is also a ton of fun.

Neon Reverb is looking for bands from anywhere and from any genre of popular music, from indie to hip hop to punk to rockabilly to alt-country to hardcore. Both signed and unsigned bands play the festival, both as showcase headliners and support for national acts. Substantive live performance experience preferred, but no previous festival experience is required. Previous performers have included The Walkmen, The Dodos, Akron/Family, YACHT, Asobi Seksu, BRAHMS, The Ruby Suns, Crocodiles, BRAIDS, The Growlers, Themselves, Pop Levi, The Soft Pack, Rakaa (of Dilated Peoples), The Warlocks, Mini Mansions, B. Dolan, The Devil Makes Three, Telekinesis, Say Hi, Japanther, and many more. Neon Reverb has selected over 80 Sonicbids artists since 2010.

Neon Reverb happens every March and September in Las Vegas, NV. The idea behind the festival is to produce a new twice-annual event that helps galvanize Las Vegas as the center of a thriving and growing music scene. Neon Reverb hopes to both to build more community among local promoters, venues, and musicians, and to help highlight Las Vegas as a place where bands from around the country (and around the world) should come and play.
