OPEN MIC: Nublu (NYC)

Hello all musicians from the BIG APPLE, the legendary Nublu Classic is hosting an Open Mic every other Thursday of each month from December 5, 19, 2019, and every other Thursday moving forward in 2020. The Nublu clubs were created by Ilhan Ersahin, a respected musician who set out to create very musician-friendly environments in NYC and elsewhere. We are open to all types of music being performed at the jam. The jam will be hosted by a new house band we’ve created, The Seat of Their Pants, featuring Thais Schaller, Genevieve Faivre, Gina Healy, David Alan Cooper (“Coop”), Joe Belle, Aidan Boardman, Dave Gantenbein and Ira Zadikow (and others who will be sitting in along the way). If you're looking to build your chops and build a network in NYC, Nublu Classic s where you need to be!

 Nublu Classic is known throughout every music circle in NYC, Nublu is a destination for progressive artists to jam, perform and meet other up and coming and established musicians in the city. 
 Ira created the jam with the goal of creating a very special, ongoing event in NY to present great music in a relaxed atmosphere. In homage to some of the great jams that have existed in this city, such as The Uptown Horns jam at the original Tramps, the Monday night midnight jam at Kenny's Castaways, the after-hours jam at Valentine run by Rob Stoner and the Sunday afternoon blues jam at Dan Lynch, we're bringing back the spirit of the Jam to alphabet city in hopes of cultivating a scene where musicians from all walks of life can come shed and create magic every Thursday. 

We're looking for musicians of all genres. Whether you play Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Country, Blues, Soul, Noise, Indie, Alternative or obscure sounds of any kind, we're open to all musicians and singers that have the chops to get on stage and Jam with other great musicians 

This is an opportunity for intermediate and professional musicians

Musicians coming for the Jam must have live stage experience

Musicians must be willing to heavily promote the jam and bring your fans
