New Beginnings is a new boutique music festival happening in the Lake Macquarie region on the 15th & 16th of January. New Beginnings is now accepting submissions for NSW indie and rock artists and bands to perform live at the festival. There is 1 slot reserved for Sonicbids artists. Festival goers will experience over 80 acts across the 2-days including some of Australias biggest headlining artists across the Indie & Electronic genres and discover the best in fresh new talent out of the region. A New Beginning to the year and a New Beginning to the festival experience.
The first batch of acts has just been announced, and include Bluejuice, The Holidays, Hook N Sling, Timmy Trumpet, Canyons, The Seabellies, The Snowdroppers, Mojo Juju & The Snake Oil Merchants, Kato, Sticky Fingers, The Protectors, Foreign Objects, Mojada, Collective Crew, G-Fresh, Urban Freeflow, Soul Shakedown Djs, The Playtapes, Mixtape Memoirs, Hawk Brooklyn, Malvina Parade, Of The Sea, and many, many more. Sponsors for the event include Reverb Magazine, Southern Cross Ten and Big Apachee.
