New Jersey Hipster is a music blog dedicated to the promotion of bands in the local scene. They are based out of New Brunswick, NJ and are firmly entrenched in the scene. Their target audience is college-aged kids and young adults.



New Jersey Hipster is an online publication only and they update nearly daily, but at least every 2–3 days. Their site gets 100–150 hits a day on average and the number is steadily climbing. They generally focus on the indie/alternative genre but are interested in all music – especially if it’s unique. They prefer bands from the NJ/NYC/Philly area.
