The fest boasts big names such as Gene Simmons, Marilyn Manson, Nickelback, and Modest Mouse, and at least 20 Sonicbids are guaranteed to perform.



The festival is back for 2011, and as always, is a huge opportunity for emerging new artists and bands to showcase their talents and gain exposure to new fans, industry and radio. An industry conference is also open to everyone interested in learning about the music industry, especially the bands.

This year, for the first time ever, the festival will be held at 'Canada's Festival City', Edmonton, Alberta. The 19th NewMusicWest takes place July 21-23, 2011 at multiple venues.
