The New Noise Music Conference & Festival is a three day music and digital media conference, taking place November 3rd-5th, that will showcase both emerging and established bands and will provide marketing, press and networking opportunities for them. New Noise is equal parts classroom and playground, blending each day’s intelligent discussion and all-important networking with entertainment offered during the evening at venues large and small. Every year brings acts from around the country - and usually a few surprises. At least three Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform.

Taking place in Santa Barbara, CA, New Noise is strategically located 90 miles north of Los Angeles, and just a one-hour plane flight from the tech-savvy Bay Area. It is the ideal locale to discuss the convergence of music and digital media technology. Music industry professionals scheduled to attend include major and indie label A&Rs, platinum selling producers, managers, lawyers and digital entrepreneurs. New Noises' panels will cover topics ranging from publishing, management, A&R, demo listening, publicity, and the impact of technology on all facets of the industry.

• Minimum $50 performance fee.

All proceeds of the New Noise Music Conference & Festival benefit the non profit New Noise Music Foundation. The New Noise Music Foundation creates a participatory creative culture through producing the annual New Noise Music Conference & Festival, consistent music concerts, workshops, educational lectures as well as volunteer, internship and career opportunities for all ages, especially young people. In 2011-2012, The Foundation will establish a permanent home for a 300+ capacity, all ages, drug and alcohol-free music venue in the Santa Barbara region (“The Living Room”).
