The New Panic Tour 2006 is hitting 56 cities around the country and this is your band's opportunity to open the show when it comes to your town.


The New Panic Tour 2006 is holding a Sonicbids "Battle of the Bands" for each of the markets listed on this page. We will pick 5 finalists in each market to compete for the opening slot in that city. The winner will be determined by the fans in an on-line voting "battle". Friends and fans will visit the New Panic Tour website/myspace page and VOTE for their favorite band.

The tour is being sponsored by Kronik Energy Drink, Alternative Press Magazine, Suicide Girls, Em Dash Music, Takeover Records and Sonicbids.



This opportunity is exclusive to Sonicbids members. Only artists who submit their Sonicbids EPK through the Promoter Drop Box will be considered for this opportunity. Artists may submit for multiple cities (submission fee is charged for each city). Selection is based upon artist/song musicianship, songwriting, locality and overall compatibility with tour. The New Panic Tour booking directors will review all submissions and select the top winners. Selected bands will be notified of their inclusion. Due to the number of submissions, not every band will be selected for the final online battle.



The winner will open the show in their city. Age requirements will vary based on the venue. Most shows will be all ages but if you are not over 21, you are encouraged to contact us to ask about the specific age requirements in your city. Dates are subject to change.
