Modest Music Radio: New Urban Consciousness Compilation CD

Modest Music Radio, a division of Open Air Creative, is pleased to announce the creation of a compilation CD of all original music. We are a Los Angeles-based internet radio station that promotes the positive side of urban music. It is our goal to showcase the best music from emerging artists on Sonicbids, with every 14-16 slots on the disc being reserved exclusively for the best Sonicbids artists in all Urban genres! Submissions are open to all urban genres including: Acoustic, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Soul, R&B and Spoken Word. Just keep it positive!



The CD will receive an initial pressing of 1,000 copies and be distributed worldwide through Tower Records, Amazon.com, SECUR coalition, CD Baby and other internet distributors. The CD will also be distributed at several major urban music festivals in the U.S. including the Billboard Hip-Hop and R&B Awards and the Atlantis Music Conference, which will both take place in Atlanta, GA this fall.



To promote the New Urban Consciousness Compilation and give the artists on the CD more exposure, each artist will be featured in a three-month publicity campaign that will send out press releases, an EPK, and promotional CDs to over 500 media and retail contacts.



In addition selected artists will receive 10 copies of the CD for their own use and 20% pro-rated royalties for all copies sold. All submissions will receive a review and be placed into rotation on Modest Music Radio even if not selected for the compilation. This is our 1st CD compilation project, and it is already greatly anticipated by retailers that have carried other CDs we've released!
