Next Great Drummer Competition

The Next Great Drummer Competitions are being held nationwide at Sam Ash Music Stores. 5 Sonicbids artists will be selected to go directly to the competition finals at Knotts Berry farm in Buena Park, California. Winners will be listed in Modern Drummer Magazine, perform at the annual summer Long Beach Jazz Festival and the LA Watts Festival of Drums, receive endorsements, and more./n/nThe Next Great Drummer Competitions are being held nationwide at Sam Ash Music Stores, a family owned chain since 1924. The nationwide search and drum competition is presented by Eric Seats, featured drummer on the new Omarion Music Video and Show Host of the Nationwide Next Great Drummer Competitions. 5 Sonicbids artists will be selected to go directly to the competition finals at Knotts Berry farm in Buena Park, California.



Winners will:

• Be listed in Modern Drummer Magazine


• Perform at the annual summer Long Beach Jazz Festival


• Perform at the LA Watts Festival of Drums


• Possibly perform at the ESPN Summer X-Games.

They may also be able to endorsements for sponsor products, get access to entertainment industry executives, and become part of the traveling Next Great Drummer All Stars.

The Next Great Drummer Competitions are being held nationwide at Sam Ash Music Stores, a family owned chain since 1924. The Sam Ash Music Store Locations where competitions will take place are in the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

The drum competitions provide a safe, yet fun forum for all ages to display their drum skills and network with drum professionals and peers. Contestants are judged by award-winning drummers and music producers that offer constructive criticism to encourage and inspire growth.
